Armenia Sends Military Attaché to London Embassy
Armenia will dispatch a military attaché to its United Kingdom embassy in a move to facilitate the coordination of military and military-political cooperation between the two countries.
The Armenian government says it values the active role of the United Kingdom as an important bridge to strengthen Armenia-NATO dialogue and to establish closer defense relations with NATO member states.
Last November, Armenia and the United Kingdom launched a Strategic Dialogue process aimed at increasing cooperation and friendship between the two countries. Defense cooperation is an important aspect of this pact.
Armenia also opened a new embassy in London that month.
In a February 2024 interview with The Telegraph, Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan said NATO membership isn’t on his government’s agenda.
