Armenia Thanks Cyprus for Assistance to Artsakh Displaced

Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, at a press conference today in Yerevan, thanked visiting Republic of Cyprus Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos for the assistance his country provided to Armenians displaced from Artsakh, thirty of whom received medical treatment in Cyprus.

Mirzoyan announced that Armenia plans to open a diplomatic representation in Cyprus in a move to deepen relations between the two countries.

Mirzoyan, according to his office, briefed Kombos on negotiations to normalize Yerevan-Baku relations and Armenia’s increasing ties to the European Union.
