Armenian Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Daniel Danielyan and Syrian Ambassador to Armenia Nora Arisian, met today in Yerevan and discussed ongoing steps to increase music, cinema and art cooperation.

Arisian, according to a ministry statement, reported that she’s held meetings with the management of Armenia’s National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet and the Matenadaran.

The possibility of organizing an exhibition of Armenian and Syrian manuscripts and a conference in the Matenadaran were discussed.

The sides also discussed the possibility of organizing joint cultural festivals and competitions.
