No Armenians Will Be Left in Karabakh, Says Pashinyan

Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan believes there will be no Armenians left in Nagorno Karabakh given Azerbaijan’s policy of ethnic cleansing.

Pashinyan, at a cabinet session today, said his government warned the international community about this eventuality “for a long time”.

Pashinyan said while the international community’s statements condemning ethnic cleansing are important, they haven’t been translated into concrete action.

"But if they are not followed by concrete action, these statements will be seen as just creating moral statistics for history, so that in the future, different countries will have the opportunity to formally separate themselves from this crime, saying, well, we have condemned it," Pashinyan said.

Deputy PM Tigran Khachatryan said 66,650 forcibly displaced Karabakh Armenians have entered Armenia to date.
