Yerevan’s Golden Apricot Film Festival Begins

The twentieth Golden Apricot International Film Festival opened in Yerevan on July 9 at the Armenian capital’s Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex.

The main guests of this year's festival included filmmakers Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne from Belgium, Filipino filmmaker Lav Diaz, Japanese actor and filmmaker Takeshi Kitano, who received the Parajanov Thaler award, and British film producer Jeremy Thomas.
