Swedes Top France 2-0, But Are Heading Home Nevertheless

The group stage of Euro 2012 is over and eight teams are left to slug it out till the game to decide the champion.

The match –ups scheduled are: Czech Republic - Portugal, Germany – Greece, Spain – France, England – Italy.

Even with yesterday’s 2-0 upset win over France, the Swedes are heading back home.

Sweden’s Zlatan Ibrahimović scored a stunner of a volley shot that blew past the French goalkeeper.

With yesterday’s loss, France came in second in the group and will have to play current European champs Spain in the quarter finals.
