Artsakh Human Rights Defender Accuses International Community of Inaction
Artsakh Human Rights Defender Gegham Stepanyan, at a protest rally today outside the U.N. office in Yerevan, charged the international community of inaction three days after Azerbaijan closed the Lachin Corridor, the sole roadway linking Artsakh and Armenia.
Stepanyan said some 1,000 people wishing to travel the route are stranded on the road.
Stepanyan noted the possible humanitarian threats that await the people of Artsakh if the roadway isn’t immediately reopened.
