Twin-Prop Plane Crashes in Armenia, Killing Two

A light twin-propeller plane crashed today near the village of Jraber, in Armenia’s Kotayk province, killing the two Russian pilots.

The Beechcraft 95-B55 Baron plane, with Slovak registration OM-KVV, was flying from Yerevan to the city of Astrakhan, in Russia, when communication with the aircraft was lost according to Armenia’s Civil Aviation Committee (CAC).

The plane, manufactured in the USA in 1969, was up for sale for €157,000.

The plane was last inspected in January of this year and mainly flew private flights.

The plane, according to the Slovak Aircraft Registry, is owned by Vadym Korol, and operated by the Enlever Foundation, which according to open internet sources on the Internet is registered in Hlohovec, Slovakia.
