Pashinyan, Putin Discuss Karabakh Clashes and Role of Russian Peacekeepers
Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan and Russian President Vladimir Putin, by telephone today, discussed the recent clashes in Artsakh that took place in areas monitored by Russian peacekeepers.
Pashinyan, according to a statement released by his office, raised the need to investigate the actions of Russian peacekeepers and stressed the need for Azerbaijani armed forces to return to their initial positions with the intervention of the Russian peacekeepers.
The two agreed to take steps to resolve the crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh.
