Azerbaijan Waging Cyber War, Says Artsakh Security Service

The Artsakh National Security Service (NSS), in a statement today, accuses Azerbaijan of waging a cyber war against the civilian population designed to foment public panic.

“Since November 9, 2020, Azerbaijani special services have focused their entire resources on organizing and carrying out cyber-attacks targeting the people of Artsakh using internet capabilities in various conspiratorial processes on social networks,” the statement reads.

The Artsakh NSS urges citizens to refrain from contacting suspicious users on social networks, from transmitting personal information, photos/videos, and information related to the security of the Artsakh Republic, and to inform the NSS immediately in such cases.

Azerbaijan is attempting to make up for the incompetence and willful blindness of the Armenian separatist regime who are doing nothing for their people. Azerbaijan in an effort to facilitate reconciliation seems to be going the extra mile to inform the residents or Karabakh of the process they must follow if they want to continue to live in Karabakh. This is just as well as the irrational refusal to face reality by the Armenian separatist regime in Karabakh could easily result in the wholesale eviction of them all in 2025 if they do not act to become Azerbaijan citizens before then. All their ridiculous revanchist talk does not change the reality on the ground which is that the Russians will leave in 2025 and only Azerbaijan citizens will be permitted to remain living in Karabakh after that! The Armenian residents of Karabakh should be thanking Azerbaijan!
