To mark Artsakh Independence Day, the country’s Foreign Ministry issued a statement today paying tribute to those whose fought and died in the struggle for independence and reaffirming that the Artsakh government and people will continue to work for international recognition of the country.

“Intimidation and threats, blockades and repeated military aggression have failed to break the will of the people of Artsakh to defend their independence and sovereignty, to strengthen their statehood, and to develop,” the statement reads.

The ministry says the government is determined to achieve the “restoration of territorial integrity”.
