Azerbaijani troops opened fire and wounded an Artsakh Defense Army soldier this afternoon near the Taghavard village in Artsakh.

The Artsakh Defense Ministry reports that its troops returned fire, silencing the Azerbaijani guns.

Following last year’s war, the lower part of Taghavard is controlled by Artsakh authorities and the upper part by Azerbaijani troops.
