Yerevan Spring Run to Benefit Servicemen Insurance Foundation

After a long hiatus, the Yerevan Spring Run resumed today. It took place within Yerevan’s city limits, along the Hrazdan River gorge. Organizers of the event include the Arm Marathon Foundation, TriClub Yerevan, Yerevan City Administration. All registration fees will be donated to the Servicemen Insurance Foundation. Today's run was dedicated to the memory of soldiers killed in last year’s Artsakh war, exemplified by Vahe Meliksetyan. "Vahe was a clinical pharmacist by profession, in essence, a scientific lecturer, with the title of military doctor, in spirit. A charitable runner, he was our good friend and simply a patriotic Armenian," the organizers said. The spring run is for everyone: 1km – for participants up to 12 years old. Children younger than 7 years old must be accompanied by parents; 5 km – for participants 13 years old and older; 10km – for participants 16 years old and older; 4*2,5km relay – for participant 13 years older and older.
