UN Allocates $2M to Assist Karabakh War Refugees
The United Nations has provided $2 million to provide vital humanitarian assistance to people who have taken refuge in Armenia as a result of the recent conflict in and around Nagorno-Karabakh.
This was reported by the Public Relations Department of the UN Office in Armenia.
"These funds will immediately support Armenia's Inter-Agency Response Program, published last week, which outlines the resource needs of UN անդ humanitarian partners to meet the primary needs of displaced host communities.
More than 90,000 people, mostly women and children, were displaced to Armenia due to last year’s war.
