The Director of the Artsakh State Emergency Service, Major General Karen Sargsyan, accompanied by his deputies, visited the Ivanyan community of the Askeran region, where the staff of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Civil Defense and Disaster Management of the Russian Federation are located.

Sargsyan was welcomed by Lieutenant General Igor Kutrovsky, Director of the Rescue Forces Department of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations. In post-war Artsakh, the main efforts are now focused on sappers.

The territory of Artsakh, where hostilities took place, is being cleared of possible danger, becoming more secure with the help of special remote-controlled robots and equipment.

Sargsyan expressed thanked his Russian counterparts, noting that the humanitarian activity of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations is invaluable for Artsakh and the people of Artsakh.
