Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and US First Deputy Secretary of State Stephen Bigan today, by phone, discussed the latest fighting along the Artsakh-Azerbaijan border.

Mnatsakanyan, according to a statement released by the Armenian ministry, focused on the use, by Azerbaijan, of weapons prohibited by international conventions during the fighting.

Bigan called for an immediate ceasefire and close co-operation between the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs in this regard," the ministry’s statement reads.
