At a meeting today in Yerevan, Armenian Minister of Defense David Tonoyan warned US Ambassador to Armenia Lynne Tracy that if the fighting along the Artsakh-Azerbaijani border continues at the present rate, the entire region will suffer catastrophic consequences.

Ambassador Tracy, according to a statement released by the ministry, expressed her concern over the unresolved humanitarian issues during the hostilities.

Minister Tonoyan responded that they remain unresolved due to Azerbaijan’s indifference.
