
ERBD to Continue Aid Programs in Armenia
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (ERBD) President Suma Chakrabarti today, by video conference, discussed issues related to the cooperation between Armenia and the bank.
Mr. Chakrabarti, according to a statement released by Pashinyan's office, welcomed the anti-coronavirus crisis measures implemented by Armenia noted that the EBRD fully supports the steps and programs of the Armenian side.
The EBRD President stressed that the bank would continue to support small and medium-sized enterprises in Armenia as well as investment programs in the country's infrastructure, energy, transport, foreign trade and other areas before the crisis.
Pashinyan and Chakrabarti exchanged views on the situation caused by the coronavirus and its economic consequences.
