An Airbus delegation, headed by VP for Defense and Space Lionel Champeaud, and Central Asia and Caucasus Regional Head Vsevolod Kazakov, arrived in Armenia yesterday on a fact-finding visit at the invitation of Armenian President Armen Sarkissian.

“I'm glad you accepted my invitation and you're here. My task is to open doors for our country, to be useful and to support my experience and opportunities,” President Sarkissian said, welcoming the guests.

 Sarkissian, according to the Armenian presidential website, said he is confident that the Airbus representatives will have productive meetings on aviation cooperation while in Armenia.

The Airbus representatives said they want to explore cooperation prospects and market opportunities during their meetings in Armenia.
